The Deceptive Sunday

As the week progress from Monday till Sunday……the feelings changes. By Thursday you start waiting for the Sunday….it will be a holiday and you will relax….and have free time. You wait for it….but when Sunday comes….its get hard to spent the time….There are lot of options. Watch a movie….spent time with your friends…..play a game…..but on every Sunday there comes a moment….when I feel that the wait is not worth it. The same feelings you get when you give your Exams and  wait when it will be over. And when its over….the fun you fantasized during your exam does not actually get realized before you. After having this feeling week after week…..the anticipated Sunday becomes a deceptive Sunday…………

My first Flight Experience

A flight that turned into a 24 hour bus ride.

I with two of my friends Ushi and Somesh (name unchanged) were in vijaywada for a Hyper launch. The launch was getting delayed after every two days. The store finally got opened on 5th November. On 4th morning, after approval by our department head, I wrote a mail for our return trip back to kolkata on 6th. After a few hours, my immediate boss informed that our stay had to be prolonged for one more day i.e we will leave on 7th. On 5th, we got the ticket , an air ticket from vizag to Kolkata. I was very excited that i will travel in a plane for the first time. As a child i always had this wish to travel one day in a plane. On 6th night we caught a sleeper bus from vijaywada to vizag. It took 8 hours and dropped us at vizag early morning on 7th. The flight was at 12:30 pm, so we booked a room in a hotel, kept our luggage and left for R.K. Beach. Spent the morning in the beach and came back to room. Then i took out the ticket from my bag and got the shock of my life.

The date printed on the ticket was 6th november. We were one day late. There was no point of blaming anyone. It was my boss fault that he didnot informed the admin department that our stay was delayed. It was our fault too that we should have checked the ticket when we received it.Anyways we had to reach Kolkata as early as possible as the next day was Diwali. My wish remained unfulfilled. No ticket was available in train nor in plane. The only way was a 16 hour bus ride to kolkata. That means we travelled from Vijaywada to kolkata by bus.

And i missed my first flight.
